Researching my trip

As my week off fast approaches I have confirmed the road conditions and petrol stops for my journey to Lake Eyre. I have no maps as there is no where to buy anything like that out here. The weather is looking good but I will need to confirm the roads are all open before I leave. I hope to pick up a map from one of the road houses on the way.
