Finally I got to see and photograph a Thorny devil, as Susan and I were riding back from the Uluru I spotted on the side of the road. We stopped and picked it up and wondered over the other side of the road so i could set up a shot with the rock as a back drop. These little guys are so placid and easy to photograph but this one kept burying his head down in the dirt which was not really what i wanted. In the end i managed to take a couple of nice images of him on a tree branch which is now posted on my web site.
