Rolley the baby kangaroo
About a week ago one of the Guys Diesel rolled one of the Ute’s (he didn’t get hurt) and in the same day Dave hit a kangaroo which had a Joey in pouch which was very young. Dave took the Joey out of the pouch and bought it back to home Valley and Beth is now looking after it. The little thing managed to jump down the front of her top early this morning and tried to grab her nipple to suckle. She was half asleep when this happened but managed to grab the little one before it actually latched on. We all laughed our heads off when she was telling the story. Happily named Rollie due the circumstance on the same day the little kanga was just looking for his pouch and a drink of milk. Beth thinks she is a bad mother but she is taking great care of Rollie who needs to be fed 5 times a day and stimulated to go to the toilet and then cleaned up. He’s so cute he suckles his toe and the end of his tail. PHOTOS COMING
