GO WILD
Today I had a chance to go up the river with one of the locals Maka who runs go wild adventure tours here in Kununurra. Maxines husband Rob organised me to go out with him up the river to pick up some people that were canoeing down the river. He runs several tours out here but the canoeing and camping self guided ones are the ones that interested me. He has 2 camp sites along the river so you stay at either depending on how far you are prepared to paddle. He will drop you off at a spot with the canoes and waterproof bags and barrels ect….and off you go exploring. He pointed out lots of points of interest on the way up the river including the dancing Boabs which i photographed on sundown. It was beautiful out there and there are so many little spots to explore if you know where to go. I will definitely be coming back into town to grab a canoe at some stage to go out and explore.
